VRIDISOL M is an aprotic polar solvent in the ether family. its versatility in use in synthesis gives the opportunity to reduce process costs at the same time of carbon footprint savings.

it could easily substitute petro-based organic solvent such as tetrahydrofuran, chlorinated solvents or some aliphatic apolar solvent like hexane. VIRIDISOL M allows to improve reaction yields in some synthesis (especially in organo-metallic chemistry) and ease work-up of phase transfer and decantation reducing losses we could observe with other solvents. VIRIDISOL M is REACH registered in the 1000mt+ band and, due to its toxicological profile supported by recent tests, is about to be listed in the ICH Q3C (R8) guideline as Class III solvent (the most beneficial class).
