2013: a year rich in contacts

Over 100,000 pages were viewed on Agrobiobase in 2013, thanks to the evolution of its services:
- improved ergonomics with a market approach,
- the new format of Agrobiobase Award involving attendees's vote during the support event,
- the launch of awareness campaigns addressed to end users about the use of biobased products.

The future Public Private Partnership (PPP) on the European bioeconomy has been renamed "Bio-Based Industries Initiative" or BBI PPP and will be officially launched in 2014.

Industries, grouped in the independent structure "Bio-Based Industries Consortium" (BIC), are currently working with the European Commission on Governance and priorities for future calls for proposals.

The consortium is still open to industries willing to join the Initiative (contact: Christophe LUGUEL, IAR cluster).
